First, it was sooooo delicious! I ordered the duck and I was very surprised that it was one of the freshest duck I've even eaten! I would definitely recommend this restaurant as it's food is very fresh and good.

Thumb up for the shrimp wonton noodle soup! It tastes exactly the same as the one I had every day in a mom pop shack in Kowloon Hong Kong more than a decade ago.
The roast duck and bbq pork are okay, definitely better than most of the Hong Kong bbq places I have been to in DC and South Florida, and much tastier than the roast duck and bbq pork I had in various shacks/stalls/cafes in Tsim Sha Tsui end of last year. The roast duck here is crispy and tasty and not tough to chew, compared with the one we had in Super Asia Star the other day.
Chinese Broccoli with Garlic is really with garlic compared with most just with a spray of some kind of garlic sauce. Crunchy but not hard, well cooked but tender and fresh.
There is basically no menu even though some were posted on the wall.
Just double check what you ordered as they forgot to bring what i ordered at all. And when I asked they said they were just too busy and they would give it to me next time!' -

I honestly don't know why my family loves their duck and roast pork here. I've had better and this place is MEH. I swear, my mom and my brother like swears by it and it annoys me every time when I find out they order their duck and roast pork from here. For me, the color of the duck doesn't look appealing and the roast pork's skin is not crispy enough.

Hole in the wall that's waiting for you to check out the authentic Cantonese food.
It has been a few times I checked this place out so I could conclude my review. I agree with the other reviews about the service that's kinda hit or miss. So, be mindful not to expect anything fancy. To go might be the way to go if service is critical for your food experience.
Food was good but not great in my opinion. Star Kitchen, the Dim Sum place in the same complex has better Cantonese cooked food other than Dim Sum. This place's niche is the bbq meat, so we did ordered the combination plate that has duck, pork, and crispy pork. The duck was highly recommended. Overall it was good but the bbq meat was kinda cold and that ruined the greatest taste of the meat.
My favorite was the rice soup. Simple but good.
The clams in the black bean sauce were too soaky and Star Kitchen does a better job on that.
String beans in the CO sauce was a no no. I think other places deep fry the string beans first to soak the sauce better. We felt we ate the fresh string beans right out from the grocery store which means they were bland and didn't pick up the sauce well. -

Come here to get a traditional Chinese dishes like wonton noodle soup, bbq pork plate or pan fried noodle. It's not a fancy place but you'll get your fill of good Chinese food. Lots of place to park in front.
